Paravian time continues, this time with all-time favorite Velociraptor
, and an improvement if not remake of my old depiction
of this smallish-to-mid-sized dromaeosaurid ("improvement" mostly in how the scanner handled this one in comparison to the older drawing).
It has 14 secondaries as it's supposed to, it has a bald patch of skin between its wings - partially exposed here - and it has the same curious expression as every fleshed-out Velociraptor
's head. This dromaeosaur has a face that makes it seem to always look at something interesting. I tried to go a bit for a somewhat sparsely plumed "desert bird" look as it would fit an animal at home in a xeric environment, but this time in a different direction than in my previous attempt.Refs
