altus, watch your six! by pilsator altus, watch your six! by pilsator
A watchful Struthiomimus altus has spotted something suspicious.

Ref by GSP.

More ostrich-mimics to come.

I feel the winged ornithomimosaurs will spread like rabbits on the web... And it's not a bad thing ! :D Really great movement and I dig the small patches of black on it's feathery coat

Still a bit too (oviraptorosauria+paraves)-esque, but I hope they do the job.

I was having similar issues with mine, but I couldn't find a more satisfactory form. Yet.

After all, the simple long-protofeather-look might have served the purpose. If it does, lots of stuff to re-do.

Beautiful work again, I like how you did the tail fan, a bit more bold than the previous one.

Regarding wing structure, maybe M. Martyniuk Achillobator could provide a good model for ostrich-like messy wings? I'm actually trying to figure out the same thing before I draw my own updated ornithomimosaur.

I had the same thought. Unfortunately, I am a lazy fuck, and this is plain to see :D
